Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Anthony Vella has always had a deep love for food — not just eating it, but everything that comes with it: the people, the places, the stories. His passion took him to the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in Manhattan, where he realized that while he enjoyed cooking, he was most inspired by what happens on the other side of the plate.
